How to play
- Every day there are 5 positions from real Lichess games. In each one, the player to move went on to make a mistake. You play the side to move (the board is shown from that side).
- Click a piece, then a destination square, to add that move to your set. Click the destination again (or the × on the move) to remove it. You can pick as many moves as you like.
- Every legal move has a score from 0 to 100; the best move scores 100.
- Your score for the puzzle is the lowest score among the moves you picked, or 0 if your set does not include the best move. Picking only the best move scores 100; extra moves are insurance that can only lower your score.
- After you submit, you see the best move, every legal move with its score and engine evaluation, and what was played in the game. The day's total is out of 500.
- A new set appears each day (by your local date). Past days are in the archive. Progress is saved in this browser.
